A unique offer in Gaspésie
Hot Yoga
Hot yoga is practiced in a studio heated to over 36 degrees Celsius. The heat penetrates the muscles, deeply loosens the body, and accelerates the release of tension far beyond what a practice at room temperature allows. It is a powerful tool for detoxification through perspiration and the release of accumulated tension.
At ÈST, each course is followed by access to the thermal baths — hot baths, sauna, cold bath — in order to deepen relaxation.
We offer two ways to approach hot yoga:
Vinyasa Flow — A dynamic sequence where movement follows the breath. We move, we strengthen, we raise our energy. An invigorating practice to fully inhabit our bodies.
Yin — Long-held postures on the floor to stretch deep tissues and calm the nervous system. Slowing down, releasing, grounding. (Not to be confused with restorative yoga: Yin focuses on deep stretching, whereas restorative yoga primarily aims for complete rest.)
Yoga in the forest
Our cedar grove yoga is a true Vinyasa Flow, practiced in the heart of the ÈST cedar grove—a unique and profoundly restorative setting. Practice platforms have been installed in the heart of the forest for maximum comfort. Mosquito repellent devices are also in place for an undisturbed practice. As with all our yoga classes, a 1 hour 45 minute thermal bath is included afterward.
Trees release volatile particles which, once inhaled, provide scientifically measured benefits to the nervous and immune systems. These findings form the basis of the concepts of shinrin-yoku, or "forest bathing," and forest therapy. Our yoga program in the cedar grove therefore also allows you to benefit from these advantages.

Public Classes
Open to everyone, our public classes bring together up to 6 people in a friendly atmosphere. It's a chance to exercise alongside familiar faces or meet new people. Because moving together creates connections. Social bonds are a recognized source of happiness. Opening up to others, forging new connections—that's also part of taking care of yourself.

Yoga and thermotherapy
1 hour 15 min + 1 hour 45 min
A formula that never changes
At ÈST, each yoga class is followed by 1 hour and 45 minutes of thermotherapy: hot baths, sauna, and cold plunge. This is the logical continuation of the work begun on the mat and what makes our offering unique.
Yoga warms the body, mobilizes muscles, and releases tension. Thermotherapy then deepens this already well-established work: the heat of baths and saunas relaxes already loosened muscles, while cold baths stimulate circulation and tone the body.
The result: a much more complete release than with yoga alone. You leave the mat with an open body, you leave the baths deeply rested. 1 hour 15 minutes of movement, 1 hour 45 minutes of relaxation — three hours just for you.
